About Arizona 

Born under the warm scorching Arizona sun, Kim spent the first eighteen years of her life in the Grand Canyon state, doing what little there was to do there at that time.  She then spent a couple years in CA (Santa Barbara, and later Berkeley) before giving it all up — job, apartment, and many personal belongings — for a guy.  Life has continued in Le Havre, France ever since.

    Dear Kim, I just found your blog and I am so fascinated. I took french for years and years and yet I have never been there. So I am living vicariously through you right now!! Looking forward to reading more!

    Hi there,

    I am moving to Le Havre in a few months and would love it if you would help me to settle in! I don’t know anyone over there except my husband (who has already moved over there with his job). I am ok at french but far from fluent so another english speaker to point me in the right directions of where to go to meet people who be very much appreciated.
