As of last evening, the trailer of Fabien Onteniente, the director who brought us such French cinematographic genius as “Jet Set” and “Camping”, is parked directly in front of my apartment. And so far this morning, many exciting things have happened; for example, earlier someone turned on the generator and then a guy used a bristled brush to clean off the trailer’s steps.
Of course, looking at the cast list, I can’t help but think how much cooler it would be to have Tata Yoyo right there, but I guess you take what you can get.
Update: No Tata Yoyo, but they’ve been filming a scene with Franck Dubosc for the last hour and a half. I’ve been shooting paparazzi style from the apartment window. Pictures coming later on today!

Oh, that sounds kinda cool… See, Le Havre really is an exciting place to be! You never know what’s going to happen there.

Is that Duboscq in pic#1? Don’t like him, he’s not funny + is he playing in an 80’s movie? cos judging from the outfit, I don’t see what else they could be shooting.
I’m just jealous you have so many “pipoles” outside your windows. Will we see you at our picnic this coming Sat? Hope so…

From what I understand, the movie takes place today but Franck Dubosc is some former singer who reforms his disco band for some reason… I guess this is the deal with the clothing etc.
I admit I will probably go see this movie, but mostly because I want to spend the time seeing how many of the places in the film I recognize!
